My DVR died last night
October 7th, 2009
and I’m not happy.
I lean heavily on my DVR to keep me entertained.
Apparently, it’s a common occurance, it took all of 10 minutes for the Dish guy to authorize a new DVR be sent to me.
I let my daughter know what happened via txt message and this is her response:
“What! That sucks, what are you gonna do without it? That thing is your bff”
The child knows me.
Btw.. My DVR is a Dish Network VIP722 – the symptoms were: fan running constantly, rebooting and never getting a signal from the dish, the green light on front panel turned on, then off, then I saw white vertical bars on the tv screen, all the lights on the panel would flash, and nothing else happened. A continuous cycle.
