This is an Animal Cell
My daughter’s 6 weeks assignment was to construct a model of an animal cell. All materials used must be edible (except for the labels) and remain fresh all day without refrigeration.
This is how we did it and what we used:
Cytoplasm – Rice Krispies Treats
Cell membrane – Fruit Rollup
Smooth Endoplasmic Reticulum – Trident gum
Rough Endoplasmic Reticulum – blue sugar sprinkles
Nucleus – Brownie
Nucleolus – Easter Egg m&m
Vacuoles – Easter blue m&m’s
Golgi Body – Raisins
Mitochondria – Striped Fruit Rollup
Ribosomes – Multicolored Sprinkles
Lysosomes – Easter pink m&m’s
I think it turned out great! Hope she gets an “A”.

Grr!! Windows 7 Ultimate 64!!
I have a ton of legacy applications that I use on a regular basis. Micrografx Simply 3D, oldschool Bryce 3D, Alien Skin plugins, etc.
When I got this new machine, I tried to install them only to receive the error “The version of this file is not compatible…” I tried using the recommended “compatibility settings”, no love. Nothing worked.
After doing some searching I stumbled upon the fix.
Install Windows XP virtual machine.
Works like a charm!

Cuisinart Classic 12 Cup DCC-1100 Series.
I’ve had it about 5 months. I had the same model prior to the purchase of this one for about 3 years.
I heard a strange sound coming from the kitchen, sounded like the coffee was brewing, the coffee in the carafe was boiling and smoke was pouring out of the back and bottom of the coffee maker. The house smelled like an electric fire and melted plastic.
B unplugged it and threw it outside.
Apparently, this is not uncommon and there is no recall so buyer beware!!!
My dad has the same model, I called him earlier, he’s throwing it out.

my last cigarette on Feburary 26th at 3:15pm.
The first couple of days weren’t so bad. I mean, I wanted to smoke but I worked through it.
3 weeks out, it seems a lot harder to get through the day without major cravings. Not sure what that’s about.
I’m taking welbutrin daily, the doc prescribed 2x a day, I’m taking it once a day because it made my chest hurt (badly) and woke me up in the middle of the night! Not sure if I should go back to a 2x a day doseage and try to work through it or what.

Wonder if that’s going to be a good combo. I figured if i started them both at the same time I might avoid the weight gain. That’s my hope anyway.
Bought the patch yesterday, stuck one on earlier and my heart was racing! Think i’ll just put it on when i’m jonesing and leave it off for the rest of the time.
Good news,i smoked 5 cigs (1/2 of 5) so that’s 2 1/2 i think yesterday. So far so good.

Last night I woke up about 6 times with extreme vertigo. Not sure what’s up with that.
I mean how do you get vertigo when you’re sleeping? I felt like I was falling out of the bed, the room was spinning or my eyes had gone all googley. Very strange.

I normally don’t eat much fast food, however, KFC makes Wednesday nights easy with their chicken fried steak dinner for $1.99. I don’t stop there a lot, but I didn’t feel like making supper so I stopped at KFC with the intention of grabbing 4 chicken fried steak dinners (double mashed potatoes instead of cole slaw) and a side order of baked beans.
Kentucky Fried Chicken no longer sells baked beans. Green beans, yes, but no baked 
Bummer.
